Vice President of Construction

Description of Position

The Vice President of Construction will be responsible for oversight of the entire construction & facilities department

More specifically the VP of Construction will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all new and existing construction projects with relentless focus on hitting deadlines
  • Managing existing facility management through hands on or direct report(s)
  • Managing all project budgets with expectation to achieve 100%

And will have experience:

  • With purchasing equipment and FF&E
  • With CAD 
  • Forging and managing connections in all aspects of the construction and development industry

Reporting Structure

The VP of Construction will report to Sasa Mahr-Batuz, Co-owner and Jeff Carcara, President.

qualification

  • Experience with design-driven construction with an attention to custom materials is essential.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • AutoCAD
  • Experience using project management software (Sage, SharePoint and Viewpoint).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Conveys a sense of urgency and projects a positive, proactive desire to support a broad range of initiatives.
  • Self-starter, highly-motivated, high-energy
  • Highly organized. Able to create and implement the systems and tools 
  • High degree of personal integrity and professionalism
  • Comfort with uncertainty: we are a growing, entrepreneurial concept, with all the challenges and wonders
  • Ability to interact positively with supervisor, management, coworkers, members, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.
