The opportunity

The VP of Operations is a key executive role for Gregorys Coffee, reporting to the CEO. This role is responsible for overseeing company wide operations through our growing fleet of stores. The VP of Operations will be an influential leader and a key decision maker in implementing strategies to improve inefficiencies, elevate the customer experience, and drive the business to exceed operational and financial goals.

qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience within food and beverage operations, preferably in multi-unit QSR

  • Keen attention to detail with comfort deploying execution

  • Strong financial and business acumen with proven track record of maximizing profit across multiple markets

  • Comfort working with internal and external partners and cross functional teams

  • Exceptional communication, project management, & prioritization skills

  • Action-oriented, demonstrating willingness to accept accountability and responsibility for individual actions, and team results

  • Eagerness to work in an agile operating environment providing hands on direct support

  • Strong passion for food and beverage retail experiences

In This Role you will:

  • Provide coaching and mentorship with excellent leadership qualities to develop and build an effective District Leader team through the lens of Gregorys Coffee values

  • Manage and lead a team of District Leaders to achieve and exceed operational and financial goals across multiple markets

  • Provide expertise to improve store level inefficiencies while partnering with the VP of People to advise on training solutions

  • Provide expertise and demonstrated ability to implement company-wide brand standards, systems, and processes across multiple units and multiple markets

  • Analyze portfolio of stores in the areas of sales, controllables, store condition and brand standards, Quality Assurance, and people development while demonstrating an ability to improve and exceed expectations

  • Partner with the VP of Food & Beverage Operations to maximize profit by achieving healthy labor metrics while managing waste and inventory controllables across all stores

  • Provide expertise and strategic recommendations for preventative maintenance across all stores while advising on deployment of store level maintenance requests

  • Partner with finance and the VP of Food & Beverage Operations to provide real time analysis and reporting solutions while advising on decisions that impact the business on a daily basis

  • Role model leadership traits cross-functionally while championing the upward mobility of internal team members

  • Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate between entry-level, mid-level, and seasoned roles while providing hands on direct support in the field

  • Partner with the executive team to provide Quarterly and Yearly plans as well as re-forecasting throughout the year based on new business trends. Provide accurate analysis during the budgeting process across areas of purchasing, revenue drivers, COGS strategy, and other cost structures
