Description of Position
Ideal applicants are individuals who are responsible team players with strong communication and inter-personal skills that can handle multiple tasks in a composed, friendly and hospitable manner and have the speed and skills to handle a very fast paced restaurant. Manager(s) to be responsible for oversight and further improvement of the operations. The perfect candidate will possess "hands-on" fine dining service skills, attention to detail, commitment to hospitality and the proven ability to be a leader.
Restaurant Management Responsibilities
- Opening the restaurant and managing on the floor daily
- Build restaurant sales through development of hospitality staff, proactive table visits and being an active member of the community
- Resolve guest issues quickly and sensitively to ensure our guests have a positive dining experience
- Work closely with the management team to identify and develop employees for future leadership roles
- Motivate, support and communicate with staff during regular pre-shift meetings
Event Coordinating Responsibilities
- Actively seeking out clients by engaging with the community looking for opportunities to create unique solutions which meet guest needs
- Proactively responding to incoming leads and request for proposals in a timely manner
- Maintaining clear understanding of core menu items and company culture, while creatively tailoring events to meet guests needs
- Writing proposals, menus, contracts, Restaurant Event Orders with detailed operations information
- Administer all events to maintain guest relationships and ensure the event meets our high standards
- Reconciling all financial transactions by negotiating, drafting, and closing contracts and obtaining deposits and final payments

qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in working in fine dining restaurants/hotels and private events
- Ability to handle potentially stressful situations with guests and employees
- Ability to resolve conflict while maintaining positive working relationships
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Display a passion for being of service
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both spoken and written
- Experience leading a team with a focus on customer experience and the highest service standards. This is paramount in these locations.
- Ability to interact positively with supervisor, management, coworkers, members, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.
- Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete, and of high quality.
- Passion for the concept, cuisine and success of the brand in the given market.
- The ideal candidate will be decisive and persuasive but not be an “ego” driven individual. The person will need to lead by example and be “hands on” with the ability to see the big picture.
