Description of Position
National Restaurant Company seeking an in-house Project Manager to assist in the design, development and management of new high end restaurants. Candidate will interact and coordinate with Support Center Staff, design professionals, and all vendors to ensure a correlated set of construction documents. Candidate will work closely with and report to the Director of Design on a daily basis. Further, the Candidate will work closely with our in-house Construction Management Team and our onsite General Contractor to ensure all parties have adequate information, documents, and details to move the project forward.
This is an office based position but some travel may be required for field measurements, project meetings, and other related duties.
- Function as a strategic team member throughout Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, as well as, the construction phase
- Manage & maintain design team & consultants progress towards project deadlines
- Manage, organize and coordinate design team, consultants and assignments
- Develop, maintain & manage vendors and consultants
- Develop, maintain & manage design standards and material library
- Review & manage SD’s, DD’s & CD’s for design intent, accuracy, code and constructability Review & manage RFI’s, Submittals & Shop Drawings
- Assist in resolving complex technical and design issues Assist in product research
- Propose value engineering and constructability solutions
- Develop, maintain & manage construction books for each concept
- Work closely with the Facility Director in understanding and addressing design flaws

Reporting Structure
The Architectural Project Manager will report to Stephen Gallant, Vice President of Construction and work closely with Sasa Mahr-Batuz, Co-owner.

qualifications
- 5-8 yers of experience, with a strong architectural background (restaurant design background a must)
- Architectural degree a plus
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator (Revit a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Must be self motivated, meet deadlines, and have the ability to work well with our team
- Strong communication and organization skills
