Description of Position
Position Summary: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the overall success of Store Operations, and HR. The COO is responsible for the daily operations and performance of the Arch Fellow stores. The COO is deeply involved with the functioning of all the departments and he/she works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to make important plans and strategies regarding the future performance of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise people development in all areas to ensure we are cultivating a culture of growth from within
P&L Responsibility for controllables, store sales, and EBITDA targets
Oversee the quality of service and food that is delivered to our customers, making sure that it adheres to company standards
Directly supervise group of Regional Directors; visits stores and all markets regularly while providing feedback and coaching the team to deliver desired results
Provide strategic and tactical guidance on restaurant operations, standards, and guidelines including service, product preparation, customer service, and General Manager development
Prepare annual operating plans and goals per the direction set by the CEO
Submit operating plans for approval by the Board of Directors
Establish short and long term goals for the organization
Oversee the management of the operations to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations
Represent the organization in media and other public events
Stay informed about current trends related to product and services offered by the organization
Oversee the marketing department to manage marketing opportunities and driving sales for the company
Ensure direct reports perform all necessary administrative and accounting duties promptly and accurately
